TRAINING VIDEOS: THE MILITARY JUSTICE ACT OF 2016
The Military Justice Act of 2016 (MJA 2016) became effective on 1 January 2019 and includes the most sweeping changes to the Uniform Code of Military Justice in decades. Linked here are videos and accompanying materials involving two days of MJA 2016 training conducted by COL Sara Root and the Military Justice Legislation Training Team (MTT), OTJAG Criminal Law Division. The MTT serves as the Corps' SMEs on the MJA 2016 and was tasked in 2018 by The Judge Advocate General, LTG Pede, to travel to more than 50 locations and nearly every Army installation to facilitate in-person training sessions.
