FOUNDATION FOR DEFENSE OF DEMOCRACIES (FDD) NATIONAL SECURITY SUMMIT 2017
The Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD) is a non-profit, non-partisan 501(c)3 policy institute focusing on foreign policy research, democracy and counterterrorism education, strategic communications and investigative journalism in support of its mission to promote pluralism, defend democratic values and fight the ideologies that drive terrorism. As part of its annual National Security Summit, FDD hosted CIA Director Mike Pompeo and National Security Advisor to President Trump, LTG H.R. McMaster, as they discussed a number of national security issues, including the threats posed North Korea and the Islamic Republic of Iran. Additional topics discussed also included policy shifts with the fall of Raqqa as the putative capital of ISIS and the state of current U.S.-China relations. Each video is approximately one hour in length.
